RTA-M FAQs

What is the differenece between the dbxRTA-M and the M2 microphone (which ships with the DriveRack PX)?

The RTA-M is an accessory, which can be purchased separately. The M2 microphone is not sold separately and ships with the Driverack PX. The M2 microphone uses the same element as the RTA-M, but has a plastic housing where the RTA-M's housing is metal, so the M2 is not quite as rugged as the RTA-M. Also, the RTA-M comes with a hard-cover case. However, the specifications on these two microphones are very similar.

Note: You can use these two microphones interchangably between the different DriveRack models.
